Branding & Identity Design

Freelance Project

Being a surface pattern designer, Apurva observes nuances in daily life, draws inspiration from nostalgia and interprets these experiences through her unique perspective. A result of these are hand drawn quirky and colourful patterns, which are digitally printed on a variety of locally sourced heritage fabrics.

Apurva was looking for a brand refresh that truly reflected her new vision for her brand. A fun, quirky yet elegant visual design that’s all about experimentation and self expression.

Apurva Prints has been rebranded keeping in mind that they will be catering to both B2B and B2C.

The custom drawn logo for the brand is in the ethos of a fashion label, yet it has a quirky feel with the playful monotype in the “A”.

An alternate logomark also immitates a flower, since Apurva draws constant inspiration from nature. This logomark has been made into a pattern, like a field of flowers using all brand colours.

The colour palette, typography and collaterals for the project were designed with the intention of bringing freshness, joy and an element of surprise for its users.

Project deliverables were:
Brand Positioning
Brand Identity
Business Card With Brochure
